In 2015 we started our first trail running event which is aimed at promoting green lifestyles and raising awareness for plastic pollution in our oceans, the Green Trail Run was born and has since become a highlight on the Durban Trail Running Calendar. This years' event takes place on nature trails along the uMngeni River Estuary (which are maintained by Durban Green Corridors) to help protect add value to our beautiful open spaces. The event, scheduled for the 27th October coincides with the Arbor Month, to celebrate, all participants will get four different indigenous tree seeds to plant at home. A Big Thank YOU to the Botanic Society for supplying us with the indigenous plant seeds.
