Tour Description

 

At iSithumba Adventures, in the Valley of a thousand hills, you take a guided tour of the quintessential rural Zulu village. Our local friendly Guides know the area like the back of their hand, as they have grown up there and have an incredible knowledge and fascinating stories about traditional Zulu Culture, rituals, customs and general way of life.

 

Visit the Head Man (Village Chief) of the village and pose your questions to him, meet the Spiritual Healer and find out why and how he does his work for local village people. Visit a Shebeen (Local Bar) and the local store and you may even be welcomed by a traditional Zulu meal cooked by one the local ladies

 

Enjoy an amazing visit with the Sangoma and learn how he got into this way of life.

 

Indulge in a scrumptious meal of the Zulus – a traditional Imfino ie. Pap and spinach, with bean salad and chicken drumsticks.
