eNanda Adventures, located on the shores of Inanda Dam, located only 30 minutes drive from Durban, is the perfect place for adventure sports. Whether you love mountain biking, hiking or various water sports activities, Inanda offers you ideal conditions in breathtaking surroundings. 

The surroundings of Inanda Dam currently offer more than 100 km of beautiful and maintained Hiking and Mountain Biking Trails. But make sure not to miss the breath-taking hike around the local gorge with its impressive uMzinyathi Waterfall and Rastafarian Cave.

The area around Inanda Dam is also highly spiritual land with its predominant traditional African Shembe religion The Durban Green Corridor runs a Trail Centre adjacent to the dam which functions as a centre of all outdoor activities and offers braai facilities, sanitation as well as secure parking. For your outdoor experience, mountain bikes, canoes and kayaks are available for hire on site.

Nestled between cliffs and rolling hills this dam provides an inspiring and tranquil setting for corporate events, team building, birthday parties, conferences, workshops and weddings. eNanda is so unique and wild that you will feel like you're hundreds of kilometres from the city, yet the site is less than 30 minutes drive from central Durban, secure, safe and easy to locate. eNanda Adventures staff are waiting to welcome you. With access to power, toilet and shower facilities as well as braai stands this site is well equipped and access to our range of activities and cultural tours is an added option. Lots of open lawns, plenty of shade, safe, secure and simply beautiful. The site also offers canoe hire, excellent mountain biking trails and visits to some of Durban's most unique tourist sites, including the Rastafarian Caves and Mzinyathi Falls.

From Durban Central. 

1. Travel out of the city on the N3 highway towards PIETERMARITZBURG

2. At the N2 interchange, take the N2 North towards STANGER/KING SHAKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

3. After 6km take EXIT 177 for R102/KWAMASHU HIGHWAY.

4. At the intersection turn LEFT onto the R102/KWAMASHU HIGHWAY towards INANDA.

5. Stay on R102 for 12.5km until you come to a roundabout, here take the right exit onto the M25.

6. Take your first major tar road to the LEFT after 600m, signposted Umzinyathi Falls.

7. Proceed for almost 2km, cross the bridge over the small river turn LEFT onto the Mr259 Rd.

8. Keep on the Mr259 for approximately 2.5km whereupon you’ll reach the trail center on your right hand side.

From Hillcrest

1. Take Inanda Rd towards Waterfall.

2. Turn left at the traffic lights into Ngwele Rd/ M259.

3. Drop all the way down into the valley until you reach a four way tar crossing and turn right into Wushwini Rd towards the dam wall.

4. Proceed over the bridge below the dam wall, onto the dirt road and on to our centre 4 kilometers along the dirt road on the left.

iSithumba is a rural and authentic Zulu village, situated in the unique Valley of 1000 Hills and only 40 minutes drive west of Durban.

It offers outdoor and culture enthusiasts a magnificent landscape of scenic mountain peaks and cliffs, meandering rivers, green valleys and abundant forests. The site is the prefect location to explore the Valley of a 1000 Hills and base for the iSithumba Tourism Route. Horse riding, 4x4 excursions and some of the most authentic Zulu Cultural Experiences in the country. Our site manager and guide, Jeffrey was recently voted the top cultural guide in KwaZulu-Natal in the Lilizela Tourism Awards. 

The venue also offers camping and a great outdoor venue. This is peace and tranquility like you can not experience easily elsewhere.

The perfect wedding venue, deep in the Valley of a 1000 hills. In this section of the valley we are spoilt for views amongst the rolling hills and winding river. Recently refurbished, iSithumba is a unique setting just 45 minutes from Durban and 15 minutes from Hillcrest, a blend of rural and modern, where your private party, wedding, event or team building experience can take place in a wild African setting. Traditional thatched rondavels provide the shade and overlook the river below. Access to power and toilet facilities are available as is the option of adding on any of our activities and cultural tours. iSithumba is a large venue, safe, secure, peaceful and ideal for weddings and larger events. We can arrange catering, entertainment and decor for your perfect function deep in the valley, away from the crowds.

To reach iSithumba, take the N3 from either Durban or PMB

1) Take the Hammersdale offramp and turn towards Inchanga

2) Travel past the old railway station and turn right at the Inchanga station sign

3) Travel up the hill to the T-Junction and turn right

4) After a short distance,follow the T4 tourism sign, turn left on the tar road D1004 ,  and proceed +- 7km to find iSithumba adventures on your right hand side near the river.

Next to the uMngeni River estuary lies the “Green Hub” which are the centre of the Durban Green Corridor initiative.

The Green Hub is an environmental friendly building, which is designed to inspire through building design and technology to reduce water and energy consumption. The Green Hub serves as an eco-tourism information and environmental education centre which is active in promoting local environmental clean-ups, outdoor activities and education programmes for schools and local resident.

The main Green Hub building is also available with access to power and toilet facilities. Perfect for private parties and business events with our range of activities on offer on the river. The GreenHub includes the newly opened GreenHub Cafè, ensuring you have ample supply of excellent coffee, muffins and snacks. A comfortable, relaxed environment, close to the city and prefect for smaller ad hoc business meetings or birthday parties.

The GreenHub and GreenHub Cafe are conveniently located just off the M4 (R102).

Coming from the M4 South-bound,

Please take the Blue Lagoon off-ramp.

Then take a right and carry on under the M4-bridge and take the first right into Stiebel Place and you find the Green Hub in front of you.

Coming from the M4 North-bound,

please take the Blue Lagoon off-ramp, take a left and directly turn right into Stiebel Place and you find the Green Hub in front of you. Coming from the Moses Mabhida Stadium, carry on straight until you get to an Engen garage. Take a right at the garage into Athlone Drive and turn left into Stiebel place, just behind the garage. Follow the road until you see the Green Hub in front of you.
