Travel Desk Coordinator

Durban Green Corridors, a Non-profit Company, wishes to appoint a full time, highly organized and passionate Travel Desk Coordinator to control the tourism front desk, customer services and tourism admin functions that are crucial to the organization’s tourism operations. 

Recognizing the critical importance of a vibrant, energetic and friendly ‘face of Durban Green Corridors’, DGC is recruiting a person whose focus will be on customer service, backend booking system maintenance, updating events on and moderating content on our HeyDurban app as well as promoting sales at our GreenHub Eco Tourism Information Centre.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Significant tourism experience with a clear track record in the industry and exceptional local knowledge of Durban and surrounds.
  • High level of customer service experience and a professional, well-spoken demeanor.
  • Excellent administration skills with a preference for someone with experience handling tourism booking systems and office administration.
  • Above average levels of computer literacy. (beyond basic MS office)
