CONSULTANT TO UNDERTAKE A RAPID IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF GREEN CORRIDORS GREEN SPACES AND ECOTOURISM PROJECTS

Green Corridors NPC is a nonprofit company and public benefit organization currently supported by eThekwini Municipality and other private sector funders. Green Corridors has two core focus areas. The Green Spaces programme develops improved green open spaces and riverine corridor management in Durban, linked with community engagement and awareness building, improved waste management (particularly in informal settlements) and circular economy projects that use organic waste streams. The Green Corridors’ Ecotourism programme focuses on the development of rural cultural and nature based tourism projects which aim to add value to Durban’s open spaces whilst simultaneously unlocking socio-economic value from natural and cultural assets for host communities. 

To this end, Green Corridors is seeking an experienced consultant to undertake a rapid assessment of tthe social, economic and environmental impacts of Green Corridors green spaces and tourism focused work over approximately the past three years (June 2022-January 2025).
